About Judith, pronounced "You did"

Judith Steger, CYT-500, PHom, combines many different tools to support her clients wellbeing. Besides her certifications in yoga and homeopathy, she also dived deep into nutrition and other healing modalities like applied kinesiology, tapping, as well as working with trapped emotions, limiting beliefs, and affirmations.

Judith's love for yoga started in 2003 when she experience for the first time the transformation that takes place on the mat making her feel present in the moment and at home in her body. This groundedness made all the difference in the world while she was working as a high tech engineer, as it meant tremendous stress reduction, and a deep wellbeing. Eventually she followed her inner calling to switch careers and earned her 200 hour yoga teacher training certification at Avalon Art & Yoga Center in Palo Alto in 2009. That was her start into the healing arts. In 2015 she completed her 500 hour Yoga Alliance certification through Jennifer Prugh’s “Joy of Yoga” teacher training at Breathe Together in Los Gatos. After she experienced a deep trauma release at the end of a yoga class she also explored trauma-informed yoga and somatics, and eventually started her daily meditation practice.

She taught regular group classes at various yoga studios like Willow Glen Yoga, Breathe Together Yoga, Yoga@Cindy's, as well as private and corporate yoga classes. These classes incorporated foundation and basics, flow and vinyasa, restorative and yin, as well as somatic movements and meditation. Lately Judith added Qigong to her tool box which enables a profound relaxation while working on strength and flexibility. With over 2000 hours of teaching and various teacher trainings she loves to pick students up where they are and to encourage them to develop their individual body awareness that extends beyond their yoga practice.

Her certification in homeopathy earned Judith in 2022 when she graduated from the Academy of Practical Homeopathy® founded by Joette Calabrese. By that time Judith had already practiced homeopathy for around 15 years, and taken courses for more than seven years. Over the following years she added Mega Potencies, Isopathy, Narayani remedies, and various other types of homeopathic methodologies to her repertoire.

From early on she was thrilled by this medicine system that helped her to heal her gluten sensitivity. By applying homeopathy Judith saw immediate recovery of a concussion her daughter had experienced after she was hit hard on her head by a soccer ball, as well as a slow improvement of knee pain her mother suffered from many years, which let her cancel the scheduled knee surgery.

Judith has started to study nutrition on a deeper level after her daughter was born in 2007, and the all recommended rice cereal reminded her more of shredded card board than nutritious baby food. The work of Weston A. Price, D.D.S. and Nicholas J. Gonzalez, M.D. made the most sense to her as they understood Why Different People Need Different Diets. Judith applies Ayurvedic principles, and she is also a passionate cook, preparing most of her food from scratch.

About Homeopathy and Practical Homeopathy®

Homeopathy is a natural, nontoxic medicine system that assists in the inherent ability of
the body to heal itself. All homeopathic remedies are made of natural substances and are given
in minute doses to start the healing process. These remedies are safe, non-toxic and cause no
side effects. They are over-the-counter medications, regulated by the FDA.

Homeopathy was brought to life by Samuel Hahnemann over 200 years ago. It follows the principle "like cures like" which means that a substance that causes symptoms of a disease in healthy people can cure similar symptoms in sick people. This principle is proven by double blind studies that started in 1835many years before conventional medicine began using masked studies. An example for the principle "like cures like" would be the application of the homeopathic dilution of arsenic which in its gross form is toxic and causes poisoning but in its diluted form it is indicated for food poisoning without any negative side effects. All homeopathic names are Latin names, in this case Arsenicum.

About a hundred years ago homeopathy was very popular in the US, and nowadays it is used by over 200 million people on a regular basis.

Practical Homeopathy is based on conditions, using symptoms and conventional diagnoses. This method was developed by the Doctors Banerji in India. In their clinic they see over 1000 patients a day, and based on this huge clinical experience they developed the Banerji Protocols. The Banerji Protocols are a structured system of homeopathic prescribing that is very effective and scientific in its approach.
